Following an interview in March at the Royal Society of Arts in London, I have been awarded the De La Rue Award and honourary fellowship of the RSA. As a winner, a selection of my work will be displayed as part of an online exhibition which will go live at the end of May at www.rsadesigndirections.org.
I am currently working on a proposed rebrand for the 100 Club in London. Since it first started playing live music in 1942, the venue has had a huge – but widely unrecognised – impact on British popular music which deserves to be acknowledged and celebrated. I wanted to raise the profile of the club with a relaunch, to give it the status it deserves and help to position it amongst more well-known ‘legendary’ music venues in the UK.
Stay tuned!

My entry for RSA Design Directions Postage Stamps has been shortlisted – currently awaiting results!
The theme was ‘Celebrating Biodiversity’ – My entry was based on biomimetics: the process of understanding and applying biological principles to human designs. The stamps make playful comparisons between animals and human technology to highlight the potential inspiration we can find in nature.
